Olimar

Olimar proved to be one of the more difficult characters to design around, but Olimar players will hardly know it. Many other characters were changed on account of Olimar, but Olimar himself is not changed very much at all. He was already an all around good character so this should work out well for him.

The one change he did get, an improved Pikmin Chain, should help him get a good hit in against the aerial pressure characters who are so good at getting around his defensive game. All around, Olimar should retain his old quality while being much less polarizing.

Balanced Brawl Bonus: Colored Chain

  • Olimar’s Pikmin Chain attack has buffed hit properties depending on which color of pikmin connects. Red and purple are the best at killing, yellow has good base knockback, white does the most damage, and blue is the general weak color on this move.
