Pit

Pit is a good character who already enjoys mostly balanced matchups; there was no need to reinvent the wheel here.

A few carefully placed small buffs on his attacks improves Pit’s flexibility and put him in a great position. Forward throw is no longer a chain throw save for rare cases, but it is better overall and can even KO. Getting Wings of Icarus back from grabs is just icing on the cake!

Pit is hardly different at all, and that could not be better.

Balanced Brawl Bonus: Second Blessing

  • Several of Pit’s moves that use the Blades of Palutena have received a slight upgrade (neutral aerial, forward aerial, down smash, dash attack, up tilt). The following video has nothing to do with this, but it shows something else pretty nice for Pit.

Other Major Changes

  • Forward throw no longer chain throws as effectively but is better as a high damage kill move.
